Howdy, partners! It’s time for the second annual edition of Sir Henry’s Haunted Ghost Town and BBQ. This is a family-friendly attraction, in fact, some children even participate in the haunts, that includes some gore but is ultimately less intense than Halloween Horror Nights or Howl-O-Scream.

This event features BBQ food trucks, cider, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and, of course, two haunted trails along with a small stunt show. Every event at Sir Henry’s is always top notch when it comes to theming and makeup, and this one is no different. I’m always blown away by the level of detail put into this event, as well as their other offerings.

The stunt show includes live horses, gunfire, and even real fire. It only runs about five minutes, but it is packed with energy and is very entertaining.

The two haunted trails are The Beast of Deadwood Mines, which takes you into the mines to confront an evil being that has been killing the townsfolk, and The Long Black Veil, centered on a mysterious figure leading people to their doom.

The trails are lengthy, but the terrain is uneven, and you will need to duck in some areas, so be sure to wear sturdy footwear and come prepared. There are multiple escape rooms, however, they, along with the BBQ, were not available during the preview.

For a great mix of Halloween thrills and Western fun, giddy up and head out to Plant City. But do not wait too long, this is an extremely limited event running April 17 through April 19 only. Keep it creepy!
