About the Director:

Kristoffer Borgli grew up in a small suburb outside of Oslo, where skateboarding and making videos dominated his youth. His debut feature film, a satirical take on advertising “DRIB,” premiered at SXSW in 2017 - a fiction/documentary hybrid that re-enacts the story of a failed violent marketing scheme for a fictitious well-known energy drink. In 2018, his short film, “A Place We Call Reality,” received the Norwegian Film Critic Association Award for Best Short of the year. Kristoffer's short film, “Former Cult Member Hears Music For The First Time,” was an official selection for Sundance 2020, and his latest short "Eer" premiered on Nowness on January 18th, 2021. He is currently in production on an A24 feature called "Dream Scenario," starring Nicolas Cage and produced by Ari Aster.
