Walt Disney World Resort has announced that its popular Halloween event, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, will return to Magic Kingdom Park this summer and fall. The event will begin on August 11 and run until November 1, with various dates available throughout the season. During the limited-capacity nighttime event, guests will be able to enjoy shorter wait times on attractions, themed food and beverages, and more. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting April 27, while tickets will be available to all guests starting May 2.
The event promises a range of spooky and exciting experiences for visitors, including the "Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade," featuring Disney villains and other favorite characters, and "Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular," a nighttime show with projections, special effects, and lighting paired with fireworks, music, and iconic Disney characters. Trick-or-treating locations throughout the park will offer M&M's, Skittles, Snickers, and other candies, while the Sanderson Sisters from the "Hocus Pocus" films will perform in the "Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular" stage show at Cinderella Castle.
Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to experience some of their favorite attractions during the party, including the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the newly opened TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. TRON Lightcycle / Run will use a virtual queue during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, allowing guests to enjoy all the festivities while they wait to enter the ride. More details about the event will be announced in the coming weeks on the Disney Parks Blog.
