Literati Events presents ‘flesh and bone,’ an interactive Frankenstein themed stage show
Audience participation determines if they release Dr. Frankenstein’s files or if they continue his dark work. Santa Monica, CA – Is it time to release Dr. Frankenstein’s files to the world? At ‘flesh and bone’ on Saturday, September 27, from 9PM to 1AM, Literati Events invites you to weigh in on this historic decision. Held at the Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club (1210 4th Street, Santa Monica, CA), ‘flesh and bone’ brings the story of Frankenstein to life with a variety show that exemplifies the heights of human achievement.
Performances during ‘flesh and bone’ include:
- Burlesque by Phoenix Fireflow and Maria Lasagna
- Cyr wheel by Taylor Krasne
- Pole dance by Roxie Balboa
- Martial arts by Shaolin warrior Shifu Wang Bo
- Breakdancing by David Dang
- Live music by Habibi Swing, Catriona Fray, and Miss Fay
- Wandering entertainment by Chanelle Barona, Tiffany Silver, Emily and Elizabeth Hinkler
In addition to the performances, ‘flesh and bone’ features a macabre vendor market with vendors such as: Wandercrust and Elixir Wizards. Mead tastings will be available via our beverage sponsor, Golden Coast Mead.
Augmented reality interactions throughout the event will provide glimpses into the world of Frankenstein and the life and work of its author, Mary Shelley.
Audience members are encouraged to come in costume as members of the occult, Victorian era gentry, or in horror themed outfits. A costume contest will be held with a prize provided by Golden Coast Mead. ‘flesh and bone’ is an 18+ event, with alcohol available for purchase. ID is required for purchase of alcoholic
beverages.
