Welcome to Maybrook…
To dive deeper into the mystery, New Line also launched a cryptic viral site:🌐 www.MaybrookMissing.com
According to the eerie town update, 17 children in the small town of Maybrook left their homes at exactly 2:17AM—no signs of struggle, no explanations, just doorbell cam footage of kids walking into the darkness. The entire town is now gripped by unease and desperate for answers.
But that’s only the beginning…
A second, seemingly unrelated case in Detroit’s Brightmoor neighborhood reveals even more disturbing developments: a woman escapes a short-term rental house under horrifying circumstances, an actor is found dead nearby, and a hidden tunnel system is uncovered beneath the property. Are these connected? What is this Weapon that ties them all together?
About Weapons
Directed, written, and produced by Zach Cregger, Weapons stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams, Amy Madigan, June Diane Raphael, and Luke Speakman.
Set in a small Florida community, the film follows the haunting disappearance of a group of schoolchildren and the unraveling of a town’s dark secrets. Expect witchcraft, blood rituals, religious abuse, police corruption, and multi-generational trauma to fuel this horror odyssey.
🗓 Weapons hits theaters August 8, 2025 from Warner Bros. Pictures.
Stay tuned—we’ve only just scratched the surface of what Weapons has in store.
