Shudder Unveils Trailer for Supernatural Horror THE SURRENDER

On behalf of Shudder, we have the trailer for the audacious supernatural horror film THE SURRENDER, starring Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett on "The Boys") and Kate Burton ("Grey's Anatomy").


THE SURRENDER is the feature debut from director Julia Max, who's said the story is loosely based on what she and her mother went through when her stepfather died. The film will be available to stream on Shudder on Friday, May 23rd.


In THE SURRENDER, a fraught mother-daughter relationship is put to a terrifying test when the family patriarch dies, and the grieving mother hires a mysterious stranger to bring her husband back from the dead. As the bizarre and brutal resurrection spirals out of control, both women must confront their differences as they fight for their lives - and for each other.
