Creepy Kingdom's Shannon McGrew sits down with Resident Evil (2026) director Zach Cregger and star Austin Abrams, who plays Bryan, to talk about bringing the legendary survival horror franchise back to the big screen.

Cregger explains why he considers this the first Resident Evil movie to truly focus on survival horror, how the games influenced that approach, and why Bryan's mysterious medical courier bag becomes critical to keeping him moving through the nightmare. Abrams also talks about reuniting with Cregger and willingly signing up for another round of being terrorized by the director.
