A new analog horror nightmare is on the way. A teaser has been released for Dooba Dooba, a found footage style horror film shot entirely through in home security cameras and inspired by the unsettling analog horror aesthetic popularized online. The film will be released on January 23, 2026, via Dark Sky Films.
Dooba Dooba follows Amna, a young woman who accepts a babysitting job for a teenager named Monroe, nearly a decade after the murder of her brother. Amna soon learns she is being watched by security cameras throughout the house and must say the phrase “dooba dooba” whenever she moves, so Monroe knows it is her. As the night progresses, Amna becomes increasingly unnerved while Monroe grows dangerously attached, revealing disturbing secrets tied to grief and control.
Written and directed by Ehrland Hollingsworth, the film stars Amna Vegha, Betsy Sligh, Winston Haynes, Erin O’Meara, and Billy Hulsey.
The film has already earned significant festival acclaim, winning Best Overall Feature at Nightmares Film Festival and Best Horror Film at Midwest WeirdFest, with additional honors from Panic Fest, Unnamed Footage Festival, Another Hole in the Head, and Central Florida Film Festival.
