'Crystal Lake' Trailer Reveals Peacock’s Friday the 13th Prequel Series

The trailer has been released for Crystal Lake, Peacock’s new prequel series set within the Friday the 13th universe. All eight episodes will premiere on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
The series follows Pam Voorhees, a grieving single mother who has been unable to recover after her young son Jason drowned in Crystal Lake nearly a year earlier. When two strangers arrive at her home searching for answers about her past, their investigation triggers a disturbing series of events that leave the town questioning who Pam Voorhees really is.
Linda Cardellini leads the cast alongside William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom. The recurring cast includes Callum Vinson, Nick Cordileone, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, and Phoenix Parnevik.
Crystal Lake was created by Brad Caleb Kane, whose previous credits include It: Welcome to Derry, Tokyo Vice, and Warrior. Kane also serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer.
The eight-episode drama is produced by A24. Directors include Michael Lennox, Celine Held, Logan George, and Quyen Tran.
With the trailer now released, Crystal Lake promises to explore the grief, secrets, and violence that shaped Pam Voorhees before Jason became one of horror’s most recognizable killers.
Crystal Lake premieres October 15, 2026, on Peacock.
