- 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup vegetable oil (or an equivalent type of oil)

- 1 tablespoon cinnamon

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 teaspoon salt

Icing:

- 8 oz. package cream cheese (softened)

- 2 cups confectioner's sugar

- 1/2 cup butter or margarine

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl combine eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin.

Mix with an electric mixer at medium speed until fully combined.

In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Stir together with a spoon.

Add dry mix to pumpkin bowl.

Mix at low speed until batter is smooth.

Grease baking pan and pour the batter in making sure it is even throughout.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or when a toothpick poked in comes out clean.

Let cake cool before adding the icing on top.

Icing Directions:

In a medium bowl combine cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer at medium speed.

Add sugar mixing at low speed until combined.

Add vanilla and mix once more.

Spread icing on cooled cake.

Drawing your spider web:

Starting in the center begin drawing a spiral using black writing gel.

Keep going in circles until you reach the outer area of the cake.

Drag a toothpick from the center of the spiral toward the edge of the cake.

Make a plus sign, each time starting in the center going out.

Continue the dragging process in between each section until you are happy with the look.

Tip: Icing is best cold. Put it in the fridge before icing the cake, or put the cake in the fridge for a bit after.
